UGC NET 2016: The UGC NET Exam Syllabus 2016 in now available on the official website and also in our indiagrade.com site for subjects. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been conducting the exams for Postgraduate(PG) candidates twice a year such as June/ July and Nov/ December. The people who going to apply for the NET Examination must read the eligibility criteria carefully. After applied for the test, you must download the exam syllabus according to your subject and prepare well for the exam. The exam pattern may be equal for all candidates but the syllabus has some what different, based on the subjects. We advised the candidates, before going to download the CBSE UGC NET 2016 Syllabus make sure your subject. Most of the candidates are filling UGC NET 2016 application form from our page itself.

CBSE UGC NET Exam Pattern 2016:


The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has been organizing the Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and Assistant Professor(AP) exam for 83 subjects at 88 examination centers across the country. The exam will consist of 3 papers and all question will be objective type questions and the Paper-I would be equal for all the 83 subjects. Then Paper-II and Paper-III would be based on their selected subjects. The details given below.

Paper I: The 1st paper contain 60 multiple choice questions and carry 2 marks for each correct answers. Out of 60 you would be required to answer any 50 questions. If you attend more than 50 means, the first 50 question would be evaluated.
Paper II: The 2nd paper holds 50 multiple choice compulsory questions based on the subjects selected by the candidates and each carry 2 marks.
Paper III: The last/3rd papers contain 75 multiple choice compulsory questions and it also carry 2 marks for each correct answers.

The candidates will mark their answers in Optical Mark Reader(OMR) sheets for Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. That sheet should be provided along with the test booklet. The candidates are required to obtain the marks in Paper I, Paper II and Paper III separately as given below.

The candidates who already qualified in the Assistant Professor(AP), they can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). Syllabus of Exam: All questions of Paper-I would be same for all candidates. Then Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, that would covering entire syllabus(what your are selected at the time of filling the form). Syllabus for all UGC NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC Site www.ugc.ac.in and also available in the library of all University.

NOTE: UGC will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.
